East Coast Adoption Agency

A 501c3 non-profit dog rescue, saving southern dogs from rural high kill shelters.

Since 2007, Dogs In Danger Rescue, Inc. (East Coast Adoption Agency) has assisted thousands of kill shelter dogs by taking them into our rescue in northern states in order to be adopted. We are a small group of 6 volunteers who foster these dogs until they find homes. All our dogs have been vet checked, health certified, vaccinated and given parasite preventatives. All of our adopters are provided with 30 days of insurance for their new pet. If you see a dog you are interested in, please fill out an application or contact one of our representatives below! Thank you for considering saving a life. Please don't breed or buy while shelter pets die. Adopt a dog in need!

Current Available Pets for Adoption

We currently have a 10 week old Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix puppy that was rescued from a high kill shelter. She is a sweet girl who loves to play and also loves to snuggle. She has had her first set of puppy vaccines, has been dewormed, and health certified. She gets along well with other dogs and would do fine in a home with cats and children. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is located in Sherburne, NY. We schedule appointments daily. Hours are 7 days a week and most holidays, from 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. (By Appointment Only) To schedule a time to meet her, please call 607-316-7680. If she can't answer right away please leave a message. We do same day adoptions. *This pet also comes with optional 30 days of FREE insurance!*

*Dog of the week is subject to change, once they are adopted!
